I noticed this ball from Luxo Jr in Red's dream. Daddy saw it also in Toy story. We checked the google and learned it is in all Pixar movies. Now we have to watch them again and look for the ball.

39 Clues

I have been reading a really exiting book series, The 39 Clues. I have already read book 1, and received books 2 and 3 today. They also have a really cool website where they have nice games and missions. Each book comes with 6 playing cards and one of them has a code you can use at the website. There are also card packs with 16 cards (but I don't have those yet).

I recommend the books for everybody who is interested in agent adventures.

My Lightsaber

I made this lightsaber all by myself. First I found the good pieces. A metal tube with a hole for the handel, a piece of plywood for the belt clip, on/off switch, and the bottom cap. I used drill, circular saw, saw, file, two washers, a nut, a bolt, and some glue.

I made it by:
1. Using the circular saw I cut a piece of plywood to match the hole on the handle, colored it red, and glued it to the hole
2. Using the circular saw again I cut a square then used the saw to make it an octagon then filed the edges to make a circle and glued it onto the bottom.
3. Then using the drill I made a hole for the bolt.
4. Using the circular saw for the third time I cut a rectangle and drilled a hole for the bolt and using the saw I cut 1/2 cm in the midle and 1/4 cm on the side then filed the corners so they are not sharp.
5. Finally I screwed the bolt onto the belt clip and slid the two washers on and screwed it onto the hole on the handle
6. When i got home I filled it with a bunch of LEDs and lasers and batteries and a switch.

When it was ready I placed a camera onto a tripod, started the timer to take a picture, took the attack stance and turned on the lightsaber.

Giant Torayan

Yesterday we went to Roppongi Hills to see the Giant Torayan. 7.2 meter high Giant Torayan is 4.5 times as tall as I am (I am about 160 cm and 7.2/1.6=4.5). I can imagine it shouting "GI-GAN-TIC FI-RE BRE-AT-HING TO-RA-YAN!!" while he marches and breathes fire. It looks like a baby in a space suit. Before it breathes fire it cries like a baby.


There was small yellow torayans around it and one was inside its belly hatch. They looked like astronauts and I think Giant Torayan is their rocket.

I need more sleep!

I like Calvin and Hobbes because Calvin is sooooooo like me! He has a reeeeeally good imaginatiooooon like me filled with crazy ideas of duplicates, transmoglyfiers, and dinosaurs. He drives his mom, dad, and teacher crazy.

I was reading about rain forest today. I learned that in Brazil more than 50,000 square miles of rain forest were lost to deforestation between 2000 and 2005.

Daddy shoved me a picture to understand how big area this is. Check slides 12 and 13 below
